Suprême Brie Cheese
Marin French Cheese Co.’s Petite Suprême Brie is a smaller version of our unique 14oz Suprême Brie and a part of our Petite Reserve Collection of 4oz wheels of gourmet cheese made with premium ingredients. It has even more local cream added than our Triple Crème Brie style cheeses, creating an extra luscious texture and rich taste. As with the rest of our products, this cheese was developed using a soft French cheese recipe and then adapted to be its own California-crafted artisan product. Flavors of sweet milk of local North Bay California cows coupled with notes of fresh grass from the pasture they feed on give our Petite Suprême Brie a true taste of place.

Marin French Cheese Co.’s Petite Suprême Brie is a small wheel of decadence. A little less dense than its larger version, let this fudgy cheese come to room temperature for ultimate creaminess. The riper you enjoy this cheese the more spreadable it will be, allowing you to create delicious bites paired with your favorite drinks and accompaniments.
We recommend a California sparkling wine or Chardonnay to reflect the terroir of the region represented in the flavors of both the wine and cheese. The extra cream in our Petite Suprême Brie allows it to stand up to some fuller bodied red wines.Try a Petite Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, or other fruity California red for a fun regional tasting experience.
This cheese can be paired nicely with some stronger flavored beers like an IPA, Red Ale or Stout. Lighter options like lagers or pilsner are also great to offset the butteriness of the cheese and cleanse your palate for the next bite.
When serving on a cheese board we recommend you leave this wheel intact and let guests serve themselves rather than pre-cutting wedges. The cream layer that forms under the rind can get gooey as it sits out which is highly delicious but may create soft wedges to stick together. Pair with fresh or dried fruits like figs, apricots, or grapes that have concentrated flavors. Don’t be afraid to throw a little dark chocolate on your board with Petite Suprême Brie for a luxurious dessert pairing.
To combine a couple different pairing options, one of our favorite staff picks to enjoy with this cheese are Pinot Cherries, dried California cherries preserved in local wine. The medley of sweet, acidic, and earthy flavors creates an amazing compliment to our extra creamy cheese. The addition of a glass of wine and a little chocolate to this pairing makes for a happy staff indeed.

The options are limitless, from fresh seasonal fruit, charcuteries, sweet and savory spreads, fresh herbs, chocolate, and more to create combinations to delight.
