Marin French Cheese Co.’s Petite Truffle Brie is irresistibly earthy and aromatic. It begins with the same recipe as our classic Triple Crème Brie with the addition of real black truffles imported from France. The rich flavor of the black speckles seen throughout the paste of the truffle cheese is balanced by notes of sweet cream and a decadent, smooth texture. A smaller version of our 16oz Triple Crème Truffle Brie, this cheese is part of our Petite Reserve Collection of 4oz wheels enhanced with premium ingredients to inspire moments of authentic pleasure.

Marin French Cheese Co.’s Petite Truffle Brie already contains an exquisite and pretty rare ingredient that has a cult following, so our truffle cheese really doesn’t need much to feel like you are enjoying a decadent treat. The robust flavor of the black truffle can overpower some pairings, so make sure to let the cheese shine when choosing drinks and accompaniments.
Our top recommended beverage pairing with Truffle Brie is Champagne, because why not go all in and treat yourself? A red Burgundy is also a lovely way to pick up the earthy flavors of the terroir in the growing region of both the wine and truffles.
Beer is a tricky pairing with this aromatic cheese as a strong or hoppy choice will compete with the flavor of truffle. A dry cider is likely to give you a better combination of flavors and act as more of a palate cleanser when enjoying this rich delicacy. If you do want to try a beer, we recommend something a little funky with wild fermentation to match the earthy notes in the Truffle Brie.
There is no question that this is a cheeseboard cheese. Often the star of the party, truffle lovers will swarm your presentation like bees on honey. Speaking of honey, a light drizzle is a fantastic addition while enjoying this brie. A bunch of petite champagne grapes will bring a sweet concentrated flavor that will elevate your board and offer a nice contrast to the umami flavors of the truffle cheese.
Of course our staff like to bring this cheeseboard cheese to parties for an elevated spread, and often receive requests to do so. Another favorite way to enjoy this luxurious item is to add Petite Truffle Brie to a fluffy omelet or softly scrambled eggs. Breakfast just became brunch, someone grab the bubbles.
In the spirit of treating yourself and others, let’s get some steak frites (or fries) in the mix. A perfectly seared piece of meat is sometimes finished with truffle butter. While that would also be delicious with this cheese, we recommend enhancing the potato portion of this opulent meal. For a night to remember, take golden and crispy fries, wedges, or roasted potatoes and melt Petite Truffle Brie right on top.
